SGSY (Special Project)

SGSY Special Project for placement linked training for BPL rural youth was sanctioned by Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India on 16th November, 2009 to Bhaskar Foundation 4500 Below Poverty Level Rural youth in Service and Construction Sector at Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and we have successfully completed the project in Year, 2014 with more than 70% placement of trained candidates.

SGSY – Special Project (Employability Skills in Plumbing Industry)

Bhaskar Foundation was sanctioned another SGSY Special Project by Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India on 2nd February, 2010. Under this project training is to be imparted in Plumbing trade only in 5 states i.e. Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat and Rajasthan and we have successfully completed this specialized plumbing training program in March, 2014 with more than 70% placement of trained candidates.

Bhopal Gas Rahat Skill Development Project

Under this Relief and Rehabilitation package of Madhya Pradesh Government the Department of Gas Relief and Rehabilitation, Bhopal, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh a skill development project was assigned to Bhaskar Foundation. The objective of this project was to train people who affected in Bhopal during Gas Tragedy in December, 1984. During FY 2012 – 13 training was provided to 430 youth in trades like Retail sales, Welder and Multi Skilled Technician (MST). Placement was provided to 347 candidates out of 430 successfully trained candidates.

After successfully completion of 1st Phase target of Bhopal Gas Rahat Skill Development Project, we were awarded another project in January, 2013 to train and place 270 youth and we have successfully implemented the training in skills like computer fundamentals and DTP operator and provide placement to the successful trained candidates.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojna (DDU-GKY), Chhattisgarh

Bhaskar Foundation implemented Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojna (DDUGKY) with support of Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India. The Project has mandate to train 3500 Rural BPL youth. The Candidates were trained in Arc & Gas Welder, Hospitality Assistant and Sales Person (Retail) depending upon the qualification, interest level and competency in the beneficiaries. The Project would cover 12 districts of Chhattisgarh i.e. Raipur, Raigrah, Korba, Baloda Bazar, Dhamtari, Gariyabandh, Bilaspur, Janjgir Champa, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Durg and Mahasamund. The project benefits specially SC, ST, Minority and Women population. The aim of this project was to impart 3 months skill training thereby providing them the entry level jobs in the respective sectors and ensure the sustainable livelihood. A state of the art mega training center has been established in the campus of Vindhya Institute of Technology and Science (VITS) near Dharsiwa, Bilaspur Road, Raipur. The center has been equipped with modern training facilities and provide cohesive training environment. Separate hostel facility for boys and girls has been setup within the campus where free boarding and lodging facility is being provided. The training comprises of activities like Yoga, Sports, Recreation Games, Common T.V. and all necessities.

Hunar Se Rozgar (HSR)

Bhaskar Foundation implemented Hunar Se Rozgar (HSR) program under India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Under this programme training was provided in Food & Beverages Services trade and about 150 candidates were trained with placement 60% placement of trained candidates.

Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS)

 Bhaskar Foundation carried out a specialized Skill Development project in Textile sector sanctioned by Ministry of Textile, Govt. of India from 2014 to 2017 under Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS) in Madhya Pradesh & Rajasthan.

The objective was to train 4500 youths in various trades of Textile Sector and provide them placement linkages. Various training centres were operated at Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The project was successfully completed with more than 70% placement of successfully trained candidates.

Placement Linked Training Program under OSEM

Bhaskar Foundation was sanctioned a Project under Odisha State Employment Mission (OSEM), Department of Employment & Technical Education & Training, Govt. of Odisha. Project MoU signed on February 01, 2013 to train candidates in various sector like Retail, Hospitality, Electrical, Information & Communication Technology etc.

Under this Skill Development Programme, training was imparted in the various districts of  Odisha and training of 750 candidates was conducted with more than 70% of Placement.

Regular Skill Training Programme (RSTP)

Bhaskar Foundation implemented a skill development project under RSTP scheme of Rajasthan Skill & Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC), Govt. of Rajasthan from 2015 to 2017.

Under this program many training centre were operated in Banswara, Jhalawar, Jaipur & Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan and training imparted in Basic Beauty Course and Tailoring. Training was imparted to train 420 women candidates with placement linkage and self-employment opportunities. The project was completed successfully and most the candidates were encourage for self-employment to earn their livelihood and many are engaged in self-employment.

Tribal Project, Govt. of Chhattisgarh

Skill Development project with placement linkage awarded by Tribal Department of Chhattisgarh in trades including Electrician and Plumbing was successfully implemented by Bhaskar Foundation in Year 2013-14. The project covered 6 naxal affected districts of Chhattisgarh. About 800 tribal candidates were trained with placement linkage.

Uttam Haat

Bhaskar Foundation initiated a pilot vegetable vending project title “Uttam Haat” which aims to provide cost effective, fresh and near to organic vegetable for the people of Raipur. This was a unique initiative of the Foundation in addition to its core area of skill development and this was a unique initiative of the Foundation and was implemented for a year as pilot and this initiative was also liked by the people of Raipur.

 Vocational Training Program (VTP)

Under Skill Development Initiative (SDI) scheme of Directorate General of Education and Training, Ministry of Labour& Employment Govt. of India. (DGET) Bhaskar Foundation was registered as Vocational Training Provider (VTP) in various states including Madhya Pradesh, Punjab & Chhattisgarh. The scheme continued from 2009 to 2014. During this period we have trained thousands of candidates in Modular Employable Skill (MES) courses in Retail, Hospitality, ITES, Security sectors. The centres were set up at Bhopal, Singrauli, Chhattarpur, Ferozepur, Rajnandgaon, Mandideep, Abhanpur, etc.

Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samwardhan Yojana (MMKSY)

Bhaskar Foundation was given the target to train 3600 candidates in Apparel Sector in Bhopal, Indore, Raisen, Vidisha, Singrauli and Narsinghpur. The training would inculculate skills in Apparel and Garment Sector to the underprivileged youth of unserved blocks of mentioned districts. We have successfully completed the training.

Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM)

We implemented a Rural Mason Training program in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh under  national flagship scheme of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) for providing safe sanitation to everyone supported by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Govt. of India.

We have trained more than 1200 candidates in Rural mason (NSQF Aligned). This program is aligned with NSQF and as per the NOS Level 4.  The training is primarily about  in Twin pit Toilet and different aspects of Toilets in Rural area. Install sanitary fittings, Twin pit Toilet, Single Pit Toilet and fixtures for rural toilets.

SANKALP – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is unique approach to upgrade the skills of workforce in construction sector and we have implemented Sankalp-RPL under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar under this scheme we have trained more 2500 candidates in Construction and Paint & Coating sector in NSQF aligned courses.

CPWD – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

We have also awarded a project of CPWD-RPL under Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of India to implement training in multiple trades like Assistant Mason, Assistant Shuttering Carpenter, Assistant Bar Bender & Steel Fixer and Assistant Electrician and we have trained about 300 candidates at multiple locations of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Punjab.
