Bhavsar Foundation (Formerly Bhaskar Foundation) adopted village Bella, Bihar after devastating flood in 2008. Various Livelihood generation programmes were initiated in the affected areas. Partnered with different Stakeholders (NMBA, JTM) for Sustainable livelihood generation of flood affected victims. Foundation with the support of National Mission of Bamboo Application (NMBA) carried out a skill development programme for flood victims in Araria. Training was provided to beneficiaries on Bamboo Agarbati Stick Making. Hand tools were also distributed among them and linkages for marketing their produce was also established.
