Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojna (DDU-GKY), Chhattisgarh

Bhavsar Foundation (Formerly Bhaskar Foundation) implemented Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojna (DDUGKY) with the support of Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India. Under this project 3500 Rural BPL youth had to be trained for three months in trades including Arc & Gas Welder, Hospitality Assistant and Sales Person (Retail). The Project covered 12 districts of Chhattisgarh i.e. Raipur, Raigrah, Korba, Baloda Bazar, Dhamtari, Gariyabandh, Bilaspur, Janjgir Champa, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Durg and Mahasamund. A state of the art mega training center was established by us in the campus of Vindhya Institute of Technology and Science (VITS) near Dharsiwa, Bilaspur Road, Raipur. The center was equipped with modern training facilities for cohesive training environment. Separate hostel facility for boys and girls has been setup within the campus where free boarding and lodging facility is being provided
